Blue Jays Shuffle Lineup

Blue Jays Falter at Plate, Shuffling Lineup Proves Ineffective in Loss to Twins

Blue Jays Shuffle Lineup

TORONTO, ON - The Toronto Blue Jays made several adjustments to their lineup in an attempt to spark their struggling offense, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night. The Blue Jays, who had scored just one run in their previous two games, shuffled their lineup, with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. moving to the cleanup spot and Teoscar Hernandez hitting fifth.

Ineffective Changes

However, the changes failed to produce the desired results, as the Blue Jays managed just four hits off Twins starter Bailey Ober. Hernandez was 0-for-5 with three strikeouts, and Guerrero Jr. was 1-for-5 with a double.

The Blue Jays now have lost five of their last six games and have scored just 10 runs in that span. They will look to break out of their offensive slump on Wednesday when they face the Twins again at Rogers Centre.
