Barcelona's treble dream is alive and kicking after they produced a stunning comeback to beat Manchester United 2-0 in the Champions League final in Rome.

Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, Barca were indebted to a moment of magic from Lionel Messi in the 70th minute. The Argentine maestro picked up the ball on the left wing and drove into the United area, before unleashing a stunning strike into the top corner.

Barca continued to press for a winner and their efforts were rewarded in the 93rd minute when Andres Iniesta fired home from close range.

The victory was Barca's third Champions League title in six years and their first under Pep Guardiola. It also completed a remarkable treble, having already won La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

For United, it was a disappointing end to the season. Sir Alex Ferguson's side had been hoping to win their fourth Champions League title, but they were ultimately outclassed by a superior Barca team.
