Colin Farrell Says He Will Start Watching Classic Dramas When He Grows Up

The star admitted that he has an "attention span of about four minutes"

In a new interview, the Banshees of Inisherin star has confessed that he can't bring himself to sit through a classic drama. He's more of a fan of action flicks and thrillers, because they hold his attention better. "I have an attention span of about four minutes," Farrell said. "So I find it very, very difficult to sit through a film that's, like, three hours long and not have my mind wander. I'm just not wired that way. I need something that's going to keep me entertained, you know?"

Farrell says he appreciates classic dramas, but they're just not his thing

Farrell went on to say that he appreciates classic dramas, but they're just not his thing. He understands why people love them, but he can't seem to get into them himself. "I understand why people love them," he said. "They're beautifully made, they're well-acted, and they have important things to say. But I just can't seem to get into them myself. I guess I'm just too ADD or something."

Farrell's comments have sparked a debate on social media, with some people agreeing with him and others disagreeing. Some people believe that classic dramas are essential viewing for any film fan, while others believe that they're overrated and boring. Whatever your opinion on classic dramas, it's clear that Farrell is not alone in his aversion to them.
